Free Design Work

Long time no post everyone. I have been busy like crazy lately with doing some personal things and working full-time recently for a new startup company so things been hectic with doing work and podcast stuff. We recenlty lost a member of our party and I had stopped editing the podcast because I was working on a new PC for myself, my fiance, and kids. So that was a big project and finally have finished a lot of the work, just need to finish my middle daughter PC when I go home to visit in the summer. But, I wanted to inform anyone that I am offering free web design and development services for anyone that wants to use it.

Some Updates on IDM

So as some may know that come to my blog, I have been working on a side project for a podcast in the works with some friends on Apple and Spotify lately called Idiots and a DM. This has been a nice project that I have been working on that I love to do in my spare time, but lately with an injury from a work related car accident it kinda makes it hard to keep up with production anymore.

New Story Coming

I am working on a new story based on my comic I made called Godslayer’s Awakening back in like late 2006 to 2007 when I worked on video games before. I am deciding to take up the idea once more and make a full story out of it due to my love of DnD and wanting to finish it finally. It might not really get much exposure, but this would be for my own personal pleasure.

I have been working lately on doing contests in my spare time when not working on websites for the recent nonprofits that I am working on. I took myself over to my original design site I started looking for work on 99designs and found a contest for a travel agency website that wanted ideas.

Possible Change In Platform

So I have been gone from posting for a while now, it has been a minute I know. I have been looking into different platforms so that I can easily bring over my design style and code to my blog to match the feel of the homepage and I decided to work out doing so with Jekyll. The process will be a long one but it will be a change soon and will have the site look and feel as if it is apart of the entire site like before.

Freelancing or Designer of an Agency

Working as a designer for an agency and as a designer as a freelancer are different things that have their pros and cons. I can tell you what I think of it as of being back as a freelancer since August 2019 once again.

Working by myself to working with an agency

The field of User Experience and User Interface has been a long and somewhat turbulent struggle for me through the years. Going from being a freelancer that always use to be treated as a person with talent but not getting paid my due. But that has paved a way for me to learn from my past, learn my craft more through my attempts to get better — which I have, and also join an agency that uses my talents perfectly.
